Description

The PPDS Day 2026 - Open for Business will look at how the Public Procurement Data Space (PPDS) has developed since its launch and how it can now support the wider public procurement community.
The event will be held in Brussels, in person, at the Thon Hotel EU (Rue de la Loi, 74, 1040, Brussels). It will focus on the next stage of the PPDS: moving from “Go Live” to “Open for Business”. It will explore how open public procurement data can improve transparency, support evidence-based policymaking, strengthen monitoring and create new opportunities for public buyers, businesses, auditors, researchers and data providers.
The programme will cover the main changes shaping the PPDS, including the onboarding of new Member States, legal and policy developments, data sharing obligations, and technical improvements to the platform. It will also look at the practical value of the PPDS for different users, with a focus on open data, open-source components, new dashboards, data quality, and strategic public procurement indicators.
The PPDS Day 2026 will also be an event to explore what may come in the future for the PPDS community. Discussions will consider how the PPDS can continue to improve, how the community can contribute to its development, and what further enhancements may be needed to make public procurement data more accessible, reliable and useful across Europe. This event will also a great oportunity to expand and deepen your network with other public procurement colleagues!
We will continue updating this webpage with more information on the event and the registration link as soon as they are available, so remember to please check periodically for updates.
We look forward to seeing you at the PPDS Day 2026 - Open for Business!
